A 43-year-old Midland Red bus which covered a million miles and spent the last years of service at Tamworth has been brought out of retirement to help a tourist board. Northern Warwickshire Tourism Association held its summer networking meeting on the D9 double decker, on June 29. Members of the association enjoyed a guided tour around George Eliot country accompanied by the Mayor of North Warwickshire - Councillor John Moore and the Mayor and Mayoress of Nuneaton and Bedworth – Councillors Tom and Sonja Wilson. |
